Detox Salad with Lemon Ginger Dressing | Living Well With Nic

When you hear the word “detox”, what comes to mind? Do you immediately think of a very restrictive and rigid diet? If you do, you’re not alone because that’s exactly what I used to think. My eyes were opened to a whole different approach when I read Kimberly Snyder’s Beauty Detox Solution book. Kimberly discusses the importance of regular detox and cleansing in order to keep our digestive systems on track long-term. Detoxing should be thought of a continuous process to remove toxins from the body.

If you incorporate antioxidant-rich, fibrous foods in your diet, you will detoxify the body by cleansing it from the inside out. Simple as that!

This Detox Salad is a tasty way to cleanse your body. I love making a large batch of this yummy Lemon Ginger dressing and keeping it on hand for an easy lunch during the week.
