I don’t know about you, but popsicles always bring me back to my childhood. Now personally, I was more of a fudgsicle fan than a fruity popsicle person. I think that’s why I love these Chocolate Covered Banana Pops so much because the sweet chocolate coating reminds me of a fudgsicle 🙂
I think these can be a really fun and healthy treat for the kids! The chocolate covering is totally optional, and you can keep it more minimal and just drizzle some peanut butter and then freeze it.
Bananas are such a wonderful, versatile fruit. I love adding them to my green smoothie for the creamy texture, potassium, and fiber.
These banana pops are an instant crowd-pleaser, not to mention they are really really easy and fun to make. They even last for a few weeks in the freezer, which makes them the perfect option for a make-ahead snack. My favorite part is picking out all the fun superfoods to sprinkle on top!
The best thing about these pops is that there are no rules! Go wild and get creative with your toppings. Some other ideas are pistachios, slivered almonds, dried fruit pieces, chocolate covered chia seeds, puffed rice cereal, etc. Regardless of what you do, just make sure to freeze the bananas on the sticks first.
