This healthy chocolate superfood smoothie is easy, delicious tastes like a chocolate milkshake. Loaded with hidden superfoods, this smoothie is the perfect quick and healthy breakfast or snack.

If I’m being honest, I make this smoothie every single morning because it’s just THAT good. It tastes like a chocolate shake but has the consistency of frozen yogurt.

The superfoods in this smoothie are two of my favorites – Maca and Cordyceps. Maca is excellent for energy and hormone balance. Cordyceps is great for helping the body deal with stress.

This recipe calls for frozen zucchini and cauliflower. Now don’t let this scare you! I promise you can’t taste them. Frozen veggies not only add an extra boost of nutrients, but they make the smoothie extra thick and creamy, so don’t knock it until you try it.

This Chocolate Superfood Smoothie is especially perfect for those days when my sweet tooth kicks in. Extra bonus: there is over a serving of vegetables in this smoothie and you would NEVER know it!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Water
  • ½ Frozen Banana
  • ½ cup Frozen Zucchini
  • ½ cup Frozen Cauliflower
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Plant-Based Protein Powder
  • ¼ Avocado
  • 1 Tbs Cacao Powder
  • 1 tsp Cordyceps
  • 1 tsp Maca

Instructions
 

  • In a high-speed blender, add all ingredients and blend until smooth
  • Top with shredded coconut, almond butter, goji berries, etc. Get creative!
