Ingredients in this date shake

This delicious date shake seriously tastes like dessert. It’s sweetened with bananas and dates, which are considered nature’s candy! It’s dairy-free and packed with plenty of healthy fats and fiber to keep you full and satisfied. Here’s what you’ll need to make it:

Medjool Dates: The star of the show. Dates are packed full of fiber and potassium. I recommend having a few every day to reep all the benefits!

Bananas: Frozen bananas are the queen of thick, creamy smoothies. Additionally, bananas are an excellent source of carbohydrates and soluble fiber. I like to keep a bag of frozen bananas in the freezer so I have them ready to go for smoothies.

Zucchini: Adding frozen zucchini helps to thicken the shake and adds extra fiber. Plus it adds a boost of nutrition you won’t even be able to taste!

Peanut Butter: a little peanut butter adds extra creaminess and flavor to the smoothie that you’ll love. You should really use any nut butter that you love.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medjool dates pitted
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 cup frozen zucchini
  • 1 scoop vanilla plant-based protein
  • 1 tbs peanut butter
  • 1 tbs Navitas Organics Chia Seeds
  • 1 tsp Navitas Organics Superfood+ Sea Veggie Blend
  • 1 cup water
  • Cacao nibs for topping

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a high powered blender. Feel free to add any optional add-ins to your smoothie if you’d like. Blend until smooth, adding more water to thin, if necessary.
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy! Serves 1. Feel free to double the recipe to serve 2.
