Being a Minnesota native means that I’ve had to accept that winter lasts far too long. However, as long as I have something to warm you from the inside out, it’s not so bad. This hot chocolate is perfect for those bitter cold winter days. Also, this makes for a great nightcap when your sweet tooth kicks in!
Who doesn’t love a steaming mug of hot chocolate on a cold winter day?! This vegan hot chocolate takes FIVE minutes to make. That’s it. It’s really that simple! I mean, check out these ingredients…Finish it off with a dusting of cinnamon or cocoa powder.

Easy Vegan Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
- 1 cup Almond Milk
- 1 Tbs Cacao Powder
- 1 Tbs Dairy-Free Dark Chocolate Chips
- 1 Tbs Maple Syrup or Coconut Nectar
Instructions
- Add almond milk to a saucepan over medium heat.
- Once the milk is warm, add cocoa powder, chocolate, and sweetener and whisk to combine.
- Continue cooking on the stove top until completely combined and has reached your preferred temperature.
- Taste and adjust sweetness as needed.
