This mocktail is a refreshing, healthy drink to enjoy on a warm summer day. It’s easy to make, only requiring a handful of ingredients and even has some amazing health benefits.
Happy Summer friends! Who else believes summer officially begins after Memorial Day weekend?! It just seems like the perfect way to kick-off the beautiful summer months ahead. Our family just spent the holiday at our lake home in northern Minnesota and it was absolutely beautiful! It was a nice long weekend filled with nature walks, boat rides, sipping coffee on the dock, reading, and of course, enjoying delicious food and drinks. Everyone is my family is equally as passionate about food as I am, so it always makes for a yummy time!
One of my favorite summer drinks is kombucha. I love the crisp, refreshing taste on a hot day. Personally, I’m not a huge cocktail drinker, so I like to make mocktails with kombucha. If you haven’t tried this, I hope this recipe changes your mind. Believe me when I say that I will be sipping on this all summer long. In this recipe, I used Healthade Jalapeno-Kiwi Cucumber Kombucha as the base. It was just the right amount of sweetness from the pineapple with a little kick of spice from the jalapeno and ginger.
This is a great beverage to serve at summer picnics or pool parties. The ingredients are simple but you’ll feel extra fancy when you’re drinking it 😉
You can experiment a little with the flavor combinations as well! I personally LOVE ginger and pineapple together. It just reminds me of summer. Anyone else? I sometimes like to pretend I’m on a tropical island when I sip on this drink, just for fun 🙂
Guess what? Kombucha is considered a healthy beverage! Now, this is a mocktail that I can get on board with.
Kombucha is an extremely gut-friendly beverage, as it is filled with probiotics. Probiotics are essential for a healthy gut. They are a healthy bacteria that keep your digestive system working in tip-top shape. I like to sip on kombucha once a week to reap the benefits.
