If smoothies were their own food group, they would be my favorite. I just can’t get enough! I love experimenting with different fruit and superfood combinations. Lately, I’ve been on quite the kick!
Maca is an adaptogen and considered a superfood. An adaptogen is a natural herb or plant that helps the naturally deal with stress.
This root has so many incredible health benefits. These benefits include a positive effect on hormone balance, energy levels, and a health booster.
Historically, maca it has been considered a very potent aphrodisiac and a traditional fertility secret of populations living in the Andes.
Consuming maca often makes people feel more “alive”, energetic, and leaves them with a sense of well-being, all of which are thought to be due to its ability to restore proper hormone balance and elevate “feel good” endorphins. I love having maca in my morning smoothie for these reasons! I definitely feel more alert after having it.
Top 5 Benefits of Maca Root:
- Help with hormone balance (PMS, Menopause, PCOS)
- Increase women’s fertility and sexual libido
- Boost energy, mood, and memory
- Antioxidant booster
- Helps balance proper levels of cholesterol in the body
This smoothie makes for a great breakfast or post workout snack!

Hello,
Excited to have just found your sight. Quick question wondering how soother can be vegan with collegan peptides. Is there a vegan brand?
Thanks!
Deneen
Hi Deneen! I’m so happy you found my website 🙂 Unfortunately, there aren’t any vegan supplements on the market. I would recommend eating a diet high in fresh fruits and vegetables. Hope that helps 🙂
