Hot chocolate season is upon us, which just gives me all the cozy vibes! If you’ve been around for awhile, you know I love adaptogens 🍄 This Peppermint Hot Chocolate from @ommushrooms has 2,000 mg of Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Chaga & Turkey Tail that help support memory, focus and immune health 💪🏻

How to make:
1. Whisk together 1 cup milk of your choice with 1 tbs @ommushrooms peppermint hot chocolate mix on a small saucepan on stove.
2. Heat up nice and hot!

GF PUMPKIN BREAD 🎃

I’ve made this bread 4 times already in the month of October. So trust me when I say, it’s PERFECT 🤤 I love a good pumpkin bread in the fall! It’s probably by favorite fall baked good. Perfectly sweet with just the right amount of spices and super moist 👌🏻

INGREDIENTS:
1.5 cups oat flour
3/4 cup pumpkin puree
1 cup maple syrup
1.5 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp all spice
3 large eggs
1/4 cup melted coconut or avocado oil
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

MAPLE GLAZE:
1/2 cup powder sugar
1 tbs maple syrup
1 tbs almond milk (or any milk)

INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Preheat oven to 350F and spray a loaf pan with avocado or coconut oil.
2) In a large bowl, mix together all bread ingredients
3) Pour batter into loaf pan and bake for 50-60 min. Mine was perfectly done at 55 min.
4) Let bread cool completely before topping with the glaze and slicing.

**tip: Make sure bread is completely cooled before slicing to avoid gummy texture! Your patience will be tested 😂

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
1 cup almond milk
1 tbs @ommushrooms PSL Superfood Mushroom Blend

Froth together your milk + PSL mix and serve iced or hot!

CHOCOLATE ESPRESSO SWEET POTATO MOUSSE 🍠 🍫

The first time I made this and tried it, I said “OH MY GOSH” out loud. When I say this tastes like a chocolate pudding cup, I’m not joking 🤤 And you don’t taste the sweet potato at all!

You could get fancy and top with homemade coconut whipped cream, melted chocolate, chocolate shavings, etc. This is a great meal prep dessert to keep on hand for the week! Plus, is tastes better as a chills 🫶🏻

INGREDIENTS:

1 medium sweet potato (I used a white sweet potato)
3/4 cup almond milk (can use any milk)
1 shot espresso
3 tbs maple syrup
1/4 cup @navitasorganics cacao powder
1 tsp vanilla

INSTRUCTIONS:

1) Cut sweet potato in half and bake face down on baking sheet at 425F for 45 - 50 minutes or under soft and tender.
2) Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
3) Pour mousse into a glass and refrigerate for at least one hour *if you can wait that long 😉
4) Top with cacao nibs or chocolate shavings

I’ve been on an oats kick lately 😋 Protein overnight oats are one of my favorite hearty lunches or even afternoon snacks!

When I’m pinched for time, I love @eatpropergood Overnight Oats. The peanut butter chocolate flavor is my favorite 🥜 🍫 All I do is add the oats to a glass bowl or tall glass, add 1/3 cup dairy-free milk and one scoop of protein powder. That’s it! I like to let mine soak for 2 hours.

The REAL reasons you’re not making 6-figures as a Health Coach (yet 😅)

1️⃣ Your offer isn’t interesting enough to your ideal client

You need to think “what is the ultimate end result people get from working with me?” Your messaging needs to focus on your ideal client’s pain points and how you help them achieve a specific result.

2️⃣ You aren’t getting in front of the right people

You don’t want to get in front of other health coaches. You want to get in front of potential
clients. You need to know your audience inside and out. Where do they hang out? Facebook groups, forums, etc. Don’t be afraid to ask people who are your ideal client where they like to get their information, who they like to follow, etc.

3️⃣ You aren’t meeting your audience where they are

You have to offer your offer to people who actually WANT it. If you’re a health coach who wants to help women with body confidence, that’s great, but your ideal client might actually want to lose weight and the body confidence comes as a by-product. Lead with what your audience actually wants.

4️⃣ You aren’t continually generating leads

If you are going fishing, you wouldn’t go to a lake that doesn’t have fish. You would go to a lake that you know has a lot of fish. This analogy applies to your business. You want to go where your potential clients are and bring them into your world. A great way to do this is to collaborate with someone in your space who has a larger audience than you do!

Building a 6-figure business starts with mastering the basics. My top clients who have created wildly successful businesses started with the basics - that’s it. It’s not complicated 🙅🏻‍♀️ It just takes consistency!

SINGLE-SERVE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE 🍪

I have to say, this cookie has been one of my favorite desserts to make for the past few years because it’s like a bakery style cookie - extra chewy, puddles of melty chocolate, and just the right amount of sweetness 👌🏻

Here’s what you’ll need >>
3 Tbs almond flour
3 Tbs oat flour
1 Tbs vanilla @getbetterblends protein powder
1 flax egg (1 Tbs ground flax + 2 Tbs water)
1 Tbs almond butter (or fave nut butter)
1 Tbs maple syrup
1 Tbs melted coconut oil or applesauce
1/2 tsp baking soda
Splash of vanilla extract
Pinch of pink Himalayan salt
Handful of @enjoylifefoods chocolate chunks

I recommend splitting this into two cookies for baking purposes!

Bake at 350F for 10-13 minutes. Let the cookie rest for 5 minutes before enjoying 😋

RASPBERRY CHIP SMOOTHIE 👌🏻 I’m a daily smoothie kind of gal and this one is quickly becoming a favorite. Raspberries are packed full of fiber and antioxidants making them a fruit you want to eat on the reg! Just make sure they’re organic. The sweet tart flavor of the raspberries combined with the rich cacao nibs make this smoothie just perfect 💗

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup water
1 cup frozen raspberries (ideally organic)
1/2 frozen banana
1 tbs ground flaxseed
1 tbs cacao nibs
1 scoop @equipfoods vanilla protein powder
Handful of ice

Blend in a high speed blender and top with extra raspberries + cacao nibs 😋

I love a good fruit crisp in the summer! Served with vanilla ice cream and it’s just pure perfection 🫶🏻

This Cherry Crisp 🍒 is full of flavor from the sweet ripe cherries and crumbly oatmeal crust. It’s super simple to make and will definitely be a crowd pleaser!

Here’s what you’ll need:

CHERRY FILLING
4 cups frozen cherries
2 tbs fresh lemon juice
2 tbs arrowroot powder

TOPPING:
1.5 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup pecans or walnuts
1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 cup maple syrup
3 tbs melted coconut oil
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt

INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Preheat oven to 350F and prepare an 8x8 square baking pan with coconut or avocado oil
2) Add cherries, lemon juice and arrowroot powder to a saucepan
3) Bring to a boil then reduce to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally
4) Make the topping by combining oats, pecans, almond flour, maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla, cinnamon and salt. Mix thoroughly.
5) Pour cherry mixture into the baking pan. Spoon oatmeal topping over the cherries and spread in an even layer.
6) Bake for 30-35 min or until golden brown.
7) Serve with vanilla cream and enjoy! 😋

HEALTHIER COOKIE DOUGH BITES

Sometimes you just want cookie dough > cookies 🍪 These cookie dough bites are GF, vegan, and high in protein!

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup almond flour
1/4 cup protein powder (I used @getbetterblends vanilla)
2 tbs @wildlyorganicco coconut sugar
1/4 cup coconut oil
2 tbs water
Pinch of salt
1 1/3 cup chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Mix all ingredients together (including 1/3 cup chocolate chips)
2. Using a cookie scoop, scoop dough into balls on a parchment lined baking sheet
3. Melt the leftover chocolate chips with 1 tsp coconut oil
4. Dip each ball into melted chocolate and place back onto baking sheet
5. Freeze for about 1 hour
6. Store cookie dough balls in fridge or freezer

DAIRY-FREE CHOCOLATE SHAKE 🍦

Nothing says summer like a chocolate milkshake ☀️ This brings me back to my childhood! This DF Chocolate Shake is perfectly sweet and chocolatey with a boost of protein.

Ingredients:
1 cup cashew milk
1 cup full fat chocolate milk
2 method dates (pitted)
1 tbs almond butter (any nut butter will work)
2 tbs maple syrup
1 tbs cacao powder
1 tsp vanilla
1 scoop @getbetterblends vanilla protein powder

Instructions:
1. Blend all ingredients in a blender and pour into ice cube tray
2. Freeze for at least 6 hours
3. Add the frozen cubes to a high speed blender along with 1/2 cup dairy-free milk
4. Use blender tamper to help blend to keep the consistency nice and thick without needing to add too much liquid
5. Serve and enjoy immediately! 😋

FUDGY RASPBERRY BROWNIES 🍫 (GF + V)

Name a better fruit and chocolate combo than chocolate and raspberries! These raspberry brownies are going to blow your mind. They’re fudgy, super chocolatey, and incredibly simple to make.

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup almond butter (tahini would work well too)
¾ cup coconut sugar
½ cup cacao powder
2 flax eggs (2 tbs flax + 5 tbs water) *can use 2 eggs if not vegan
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt
Chocolate chips (I use @enjoylifefoods)

INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350F.
Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and stir to combine.
Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top before baking.
Bake for 20 min (you want them to be gooey, so don’t over bake!)
Gently press fresh raspberries into the brownies right out of the oven.
Let brownies cool for 30 minutes before cutting to let them fully set.
